This was a gift for my significant other who had just finished taking a beginner Japanese class. She loves the mug!
I own 4.
Probably the best mug I've ever ordered and will definitely be ordering the Katakana mug in the future!
I bought the Hiragana mug for a young friend who has a fascination with Japan. I haven’t given it to him yet. But the first mug arrived broken. I sent a photo to the company and their customer service was impeccable. They responded quickly and sent a replacement that arrived in perfect condition. The mug is attractive and engaging. I was able to form several words I know in Japanese. This will be perfect for my friend who hopes to visit Japan one day.
Very cute and useful!
Long to come but daughter very happy of the gift

I purchased the mug as a gift for my brother's upcoming birthday, so I personally haven't used it, but I am very happy with the product. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it arrived. I would definitely recommend HIBITEN to others and commend the site for its speedy delivery.
